As I learned about BYU-Pathway, I felt that it was the right program for me and the right time to start working toward a degree again. I grew up learning to do family history research from my mother, but it never occurred to me that it could be something I could have a career in. When I saw it listed as an option through BYU-Pathway, I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do.

Being a mother and grandmother with demanding Church callings, I was only able to take one or two courses at a time. The instructors were excellent. I worked hard to do well and gained wonderful friendships.

Since graduating, I served as a service missionary for the BYU Virtual Records Operation Center. Earning my degree through BYU-Pathway has changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I’ve gained knowledge, skills, confidence, and experience, and have learned that it’s never too late. I did something hard, and it was definitely worth it.

I am deeply grateful to my Heavenly Father and to every person who has been instrumental in my academic and spiritual journey. BYU-Pathway Worldwide not only strengthened my testimony, but through each instructor, I felt the love of Jesus Christ. My mentors are true angels, reminding me that, with passion and dedication, success is achievable.

I faced constant challenges with basic services like electricity, water, and gas. I suffered the loss of friends during the pandemic and had health complications. Thanks to prayer and the emotional resilience [I learned through my courses], I overcame these obstacles.

Strength and dedication have their rewards. Limitations only exist in our minds. We must trust in God, who knows our divine potential. Thank you to BYU-Pathway Worldwide for the knowledge and valuable teachings — this experience has been transformative.

Earning my degree in applied health through BYU-Pathway Worldwide has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I am eager to use my knowledge to improve community health, especially in underserved areas.

Balancing education with family responsibilities and financial challenges often felt overwhelming. However, through God’s grace and the inspired structure of BYU-Pathway, I discovered strengths I didn’t know I had. My instructors, classmates, and mentors became invaluable sources of spiritual and emotional support. The weekly gatherings, devotionals, and Christ-centered curriculum served as reminders that I was not only pursuing a degree but also growing closer to my Savior.

The blessings I received through BYU-Pathway extend beyond academics. I’ve learned to prioritize, trust in the Lord’s timing, and keep moving forward, even if it means taking small steps. My testimony deepened, my marriage grew stronger, and I have developed confidence in my ability to lead, serve, and inspire others.

To anyone considering enrolling, don’t wait until everything is perfect. The Lord will help you. BYU-Pathway was truly inspired for people like you and me.

The road to a degree is possible! See which degree could be in your future.
