Students who have questions about accommodations available during provided programs, please contact your mentor or the Dean of Students Office.

BYU-Pathway Online Degree Students

Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU–Idaho, and Ensign College (collectively the Institutions) do not discriminate against online degree students with disabilities and provide reasonable accommodations to otherwise qualified individuals.

Online degree students can request accessibility accommodations through the Accommodations Portal or contact the Dean of Students Office for additional information.

Steps to submit an application in AIM.

What kinds of challenges can I ask about?
Students may seek support for physical disabilities, learning differences, mental health concerns (such as anxiety, depression, or trauma), neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD, or other serious difficulties that affect their studies. Short-term needs like illness or injury may also qualify.
Do I need to provide medical proof or paperwork?
Yes. Documentation is required. Examples include medical records, a doctor’s note, or a psychological evaluation.
Will asking for accommodations affect my enrollment or grades?
No. Requesting accommodations will not put your enrollment, grades, or standing at risk.
Who will know about my accommodations?
Your information is private. Only those who need to know will be informed. Instructors receive a notice of the approved accommodation so they can support you, but personal details or diagnoses are not shared.

If you’re unsure what help you need, talk with your mentor or the Dean of Students Office. We’ll guide you to the right support.
