At the conclusion of Winter Semester 2018, 636 online degree-seeking students will complete a degree or certificate from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Among these individuals are 430 former PathwayConnect students. 188 of the graduates plan to attend commencement and convocation ceremonies live April 13 on the BYU-Idaho campus.
Of the 430* former PathwayConnect students completing a degree or certificate through BYU-Idaho, 241 are earning a bachelor’s degree, 132 are earning an associate degree, and 65 are completing a certificate. Students completing an online degree or certificate represent 22 countries and 42 states in the U.S.
In addition, more than 1,331 students will complete PathwayConnect this semester.
Since PathwayConnect started in 2009, more than 31,000 students have completed the program. Including the most recent totals, 3,318 BYU-Idaho degrees and certificates have been awarded to PathwayConnect graduates.
188 former PathwayConnect students plan to attend commencement and convocation ceremonies live April 13 on the BYU-Idaho campus. These 188 students will represent 22 different states in the U.S. and five countries. Students will travel as far as Soldotna, Alaska; Melrose, Massachusetts; Guatemala; and the Republic of South Africa.
The upcoming academic term for PathwayConnect and BYU-Idaho online courses begins April 23. PathwayConnect Fall enrollment open from June 1—August 28, and BYU-Idaho is accepting applications for its online degree program until August 1.
