2,742 Students to Complete Online Certificates and Degrees


At the conclusion of Spring Semester 2023 (Apr.–Jul.), 2,742, students are anticipated to have completed an online certificate or degree from BYU-Idaho or Ensign College, supported by BYU-Pathway Worldwide.

Among the students who completed online certificates and/or degrees are 2,349 PathwayConnect completers. Of all awarded students, 677 earned a bachelor’s degree, 591 earned an associate degree, and 2,502 completed a certificate. These students represent 94 countries and 50 U.S. states.

BYU-Idaho held commencement services for graduates on July 19, at 5:45 p.m. MST, in the BYU-Idaho Center on campus as well as a live stream . Elder David A. Bednard, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was the guest speaker.

Ensign College graduates will be celebrated at the commencement services next April.
