
BYU-Pathway Worldwide monthly devotionals complement the student experience by fostering greater faith and discipleship in Jesus Christ. Devotionals launch on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (Mountain Time) and are available with translated voiceover and captions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

Devotionals typically last 7–10 minutes and can be viewed on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. (MDT/UTC-6) on the BYU-Pathway Facebook page and later on the BYU-Pathway speeches page.
Students responsible for leading the lesson in their gathering that week will facilitate a discussion around topics shared in the devotional. All participants are invited to watch, share, and discuss these inspiring messages.
About the Speakers
Elder D. Todd Christofferson

D. Todd Christofferson is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and previously served in the Presidency of the Seventy. Elder Christofferson earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU and a law degree from Duke University. He also became the associate general counsel of NationsBank corporation and practiced law in Washington D.C. He and his wife, Katherine, are the parents of five children.
Elder Ronald A. Rasband

Ronald A. Rasband is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and previously served as Senior President of the Seventy. Elder Rasband attended the University of Utah and was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Business and Commerce from Utah Valley University. In his career, he was president and COO of Huntsman Chemical Corporation. He and his wife, Melanie, are the parents of five children.
President Camille N. Johnson

Camille N. Johnson is the Relief Society General President and previously served as Primary General President. President Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and a law degree from University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law. She practiced law for nearly 30 years. She and her husband, Douglas, are the parents of three children and presided together over the Peru Arequipa Mission.
President Brian K. and Sister Melinda Ashton

Brian K. Ashton is the president of BYU-Pathway Worldwide and previously served as vice president of field operations. Receiving his bachelor’s degree from BYU and MBA degree from Harvard University, President Ashton has started several companies. He served as the Second Counselor in the Sunday School General Presidency from 2015–2019.
Melinda Ashton graduated from BYU and later attended medical school in Chicago. She served in the Spain Malaga Mission. Melinda and Brian are the parents of seven children. Together, they presided over the Texas Houston South Mission from 2012–2015.

Elder Takashi Wada
Takashi Wada was sustained as a General Authority Seventy in April 2023. He earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and an MBA from BYU. He has worked as an executive for several multinational corporations in the United States and Japan, as well as director for temporal affairs of the Church in the Asia North Area. He and his wife, Naomi, are the parents of two children. Together, they presided over the Japan Tokyo South Mission from 2013–2016.

Blaine R. Maxfield
Blaine R. Maxfield is the managing director of Welfare and Self-Reliance and an Area Seventy in the Utah Area. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior and a master’s degree in business strategy from Stanford University. He previously worked as the chief information officer of the Church and as president of SunGard Financial Systems (now FIS Global). He and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of five children.

Elder Patrick Kearon
Patrick Kearon is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and previously served as Senior President of the Seventy. Elder Kearon has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United States in a range of industries and ran his own communications consultancy. He has served on the boards of charities, a school, an enterprise agency, and a college. He and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of four children.
