Graduate Spotlight: Timothy Zufelt
For many years, finishing my degree was something I started but never quite completed. While building my career in technology, I attended different colleges but never found a path that truly fit my life.
My wife then made the decision to try BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Seeing her take that leap of faith inspired me to do the same. We began studying together, and she showed me the ins and outs of school and helped me stay organized. I credit a lot of my success to her.
BYU-Pathway was the first option that truly fit my life. Centered on Christ, it allowed me to balance full-time work, family responsibilities, and my education. That flexibility made it possible to keep moving forward without putting other priorities on hold. The journey was long, but my wife, mentors, and the Savior made sure I didn’t do it alone.
Looking back, completing my degree has been about more than education. It has been a lesson on perseverance, faith, and the power of having people who believe in me all along.
*BYU-Pathway’s academic calendar is based on seven-week blocks. Graduation numbers are reported in July for Blocks 1–3 (January–June) and in December for Blocks 4–6 (July–December).
