One of my family's mottos is “Do hard things.” Educationally, that might mean finding time to do schoolwork, meeting new people, or even understanding the coursework. But it is through doing these hard things that we come to better understand who the Lord is. That is one of the functions of PathwayConnect. The Savior taught, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

The Lord promises that we can be comforted in our struggles, whether they be educational or otherwise. Christ tells us that through him, we will feel at peace and not be afraid.Christ taught again of peace during hardship when he said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Christ also adds the fact that He has already overcome everything that we have done, are doing, or will do.Our testimonies of Christ can be strengthened as we turn to Him and ask for His guidance. We can feel the peace that the Savior brings and know that He “will be on your right hand and on your left."
